Heck no!

But so many people do that with options trading, blindly trading options without knowing the true risks in options, as well as not knowing how they will really make money.

This book will teach you about the kinds of risks and rewards in options trading, known as the option greeks.

Move above the complex equations and see how stock options can be much simpler when you learn about them visually and through stories.

In 60 minutes, you will have enough practical knowledge to trade stock options with ease.

Many discussions of option Greeks begin with complex mathematics and go on from there. They probably lose 90% of their readers after the first chapter.

Other texts are memoirs or practical discussions by traders, Who may or may not have extensive experience. These are pleasant reads and can in fact be very educational and informative. s a great educator. M
"Option Greeks in Plain English: mastery in Under 60 Minutes" is not mathematically challenging, although it does provide all of the curves and graphs needed to understand option Greeks. It is also a pleasant read, written in a chatty style and with lots of analogies. It is an ideal way to understand the concepts and learn the details at the same time.

Yes, you can read it in 30 minutes. I am certain I will be going back to reread sections and use this as a reference and guide to my more mathematically complex text. As such it is a very useful addition to any option traders library.

Really good description of the greeks, assuming you have an understanding of elementary calculus and physics. It helped to clarify things when the options variables were explained in terms of position, velocity, and acceleration. This book won't teach you to trade, and you can find the definitions on the web, but this book is worth reading to get the author's colorful descriptions of the variables. This will help you to focus on the more important ones.
This was well worth the price paid. I only wish each explanation had an example where the theory was applied. Other than that, it was well written and easy to understand.

I know a lot of traders that have spent 100x the price of this simple e-book on classes, webinars, and DVD's, only to come away with a lot less than I did.

Save your money and time and just go through this e-book a couple of times. You'll be glad you did.
Quick read. Worth taking the 60 minutes to read.
As a beginning options trader I found this book to be very helpful in getting a basic understand of the Greeks. This was the third book I have read and it has been the most informative. I would recommend this book for any one wanting to gain knowledge in options.
Ignoring the 60 Minutes tag line, I find this book to be a good reference for beginning to understand financial option "Greeks". How those might work to help one to master making any money from trading in options is an entirely separate subject that is not covered here.

Different greek movements are of interest to different investment exposures that one may undertake. Market makers are affected by certain ones more than others, while buyers and sellers are concerned mostly with only two or three of them. I think this book accurately teaches all of the technicalities concerning the life and value of financial options.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to understand the "Greeks" used by options traders to anyalyze their potential purchases.

Although 60 minutes, as promised in the subtitle, might be a little too little time to absorb all the information the author provides, he does an excellent job of homing in on the key essentials of each of the main "Greeks" and showing their relationship to each other and to the trader's or dealer's understanding of the riskiness, etc., of his position.

It's important to know, however, that the book should only be read after one has a good fundamental understanding of how basic options work. That is, both the buying and selling of calls and puts should be understood, along with a good sense of what moving into the money and out of the money does to one's financial position. If those basics are not generally understood, the greeks will be too confusing; with that basic knowledge, however, the explanations the author gives will prove to be very useful and clear.

To get somewhat ahead of the author, essentially the greeks are discussing primarily the first and second derivatives of various elements, but don't be dismayed if those terms are fuzzy for you or off-putting--it's not necessary to know advanced math to understand and profitably use the text.

If I have any negative comment, it's only that I read the book on the and, unfortunately, almost none of the graphs the author provided to show what he was talking about were legible. Even using the "magnifying" capability of the did not make them large enough to make out the labels on the axes, the numbers, or anything more than the general "bend" of the curves. However, the basic option knowledge mentioned above, combined with the author's explanations, more than made up for the lack of clarity of the graphs.
Plain English? Sorry, but I disagree. I feel fortunate to have some background in higher math and science, which the author acts like he tries to avoid, but he still takes frequent dives there. Or maybe he understands that in order to understand this subject well you maybe should have these skills anyhow? I don't know...maybe the author could tell us.

It took me two hours to read this, not one, and am I a master of this? Not a chance...the subject is too deep and complex. Do I know more than I did two hours ago? Absolutely. I don't think this is a BAD book, but I do think the title over-sells a bit. I don't know what else a person could read to prep for this book, though. I will be studying this and probably doing a mind map and other diagrams to try to relate all the concepts and Greeks together. Something like that in the book (a flowchart, a related table, maybe) would be a big help in my opinion.

I don't want to dissuade people from buying the book, but just beware that the concepts are tough to understand, so don't be disappointed if you don't "get it" the first time through.
